Biographical Note: Dr. Bayne-Jones has been professor of bacteriology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, 1923-1932, dean of the Yale University School of Medicine, 1935-1940, and president of the Joint Administrative Board of the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, 1947-1953. He has served on numerous advisory committees.
