Title: National Library of Medicine and Continuing Education, 1970
Occasion: Presented at the Association of American Medical Colleges Conference on Continuing Medical Education, Los Angeles, Calif.
MMC Commentary: I discussed how the National Library of Medicine used medical library networking for information transfer. I urged that a library be developed in hospitals where physicians spent most of their time. Comprehensive communications systems will be of great importance to the continuing education of physicians.
