Title: Parallelisms of Medical Greatness, 1970
Occasion: Presented at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center for Stewart Wolf Day and published in the Journal of the Oklahoma State Medical Association, 63 (August 1970): 385-90.
MMC Commentary: In this speech I compared the life and accomplishments of Oklahoma physician Stewart Wolf, M.D. with S. Weir Mitchell, the father of American neurology. I am pleased to remember the times through the photographs included in the speech. Stewart was a good friend. He was responsible for my acceptance of the position as Chairman of the Department of Microbiology at the University of Oklahoma.
