Title: The Medical Library as an Active Information Center, 1965
Occasion: Presented at the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Houston Academy of Medicine, Houston, Tx.
MMC Commentary: This speech describes how libraries may serve as active information centers. Computers could communicate with other computers in a new high-speed system of communication. This speech includes a favorite of mine: "Built-in Orderly Organized Knowledge" = BOOK.
