Series 7: Subject files, 1921-1990 (bulk 1950-1985) [series]:

This series is arranged alphabetically by subject.

This series contains materials relating to various professional subjects, including organizations and associations, congresses and conferences, travel plans and speaking engagements, as well as several sets of notes on immunochemical topics. These notes on immunochemistry were left in the subject files series due to Heidelberger's placement of them within this context. When possible, dates were supplied to the folders.

Series 11: Photographs, 1901-1988 (bulk 1950-1980) [series]:

This series contains photographs of Heidelberger both at work and in recreation. Several of the family photographs are reprints of very old photos; the dates given above reflect the date the photo was originally taken. Ninety-two individual images, in sizes ranging from snapshots to portraits, make up this series. This series also includes a volume commemorating, in photos, Heidelberger's 1954 award of the Emil von Behring prize. Some of the largest images are housed in Oversized Folder #2, and these include portraits of Heidelberger himself, Walter W. Palmer, Simon Flexner, and A.R. Dochez.
