Biographical Note

George B. Lawson graduated from the University of Virginia Medical School in 1897. In 1900 he was appointed acting assistant surgeon with the U.S. Army Medical Corps. Immediately stationed in Cuba, he worked with Walter Reed and the Yellow Fever Commission.
