Biographical Note

Charles Armstrong Armstrong was an epidemiologist for the Public Health Service, specializing in studies of influenza, smallpox and polio. Frank Rogers of NLM, asked Armstrong to write a bio-bibliography of George W. McCoy for publication by the Reference Section of NLM "as an example of contributions to medical science by a Public Health Service Officer."
