Collection includes folders on correspondence, critiques and reviews, toxicology, risk assessment, ethical and legal issues, data gathering, agent orange, and cancer.
Schotté, Otto. Title: Correspondence and laboratory notebooks of Otto Schotté
Abstract: UNPROCESSED COLLECTION. From Schotté's period in Hans Spemann's laboratory in Freiburg im Breisgau. Major correspondents include Ross Harrison, Yale University, Amherst College and the Rockefeller University. Much of the correspondence concerns Schotté's efforts to secure research funding.

Schwabe, Calvin Walter / [1944-1992] Title: Calvin Walter Schwabe Papers 1944-1992
Abstract: Dr. Calvin Schwabe, veterinarian and public health scientist, has been throughout his career a leading worker at the interface of human and veterinary medicine. Dr. Schwabe was a member of the medical and public health faculties of the American University of Beirut, where he developed a significant research program on hydatid disease and other parasitic zoonoses, founded a joint Department of Tropical Health within those two faculties in l957, and a Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics within the School of Public Health in l962. He also established the first department and graduate program in epidemiology within a school of veterinary medicine at the University of California, Davis.
