A collection of newspaper clippings apparently collected by the Preventive Medicine Service's Venereal Disease Control division. Several notes in the collection are addressed to Col. Simmons, probably James S. Simmons who headed the Service from 1940 to 1946. Includes clippings on venereal disease, prostitution, penicillin, and the activities of the U.S. Public Health Service in these areas.
