		General Correspondence [subseries]: The general correspondence includes letters to Dr. Middleton's appointments to the Deanship at the University of Wisconsin, his lectureship at the University of Oklahoma, his appointment to Director of the Veterans Administration, and the awarding of honorary degrees. Data concerning Dr. Middleton's association with military medicine may be found in the general correspondence, with his army records, and with the Veterans Administration materials. Boxes 53-56 contain correspondence and material added to the collection in 1976.
